#tutorialtuesday •Alma is demonstrating a beautiful Mermaid pose!•From half pigeon you activate the back of the thigh, and start to bring your ankle towards your torso. •Reach back with the same hand until you can grab your ankle then you wiggle and snuggle the foot into your elbow. •Reach up to the sky with that hand as you also start lifting your chest to the sky. Then you take the opposite hand, the one on the same side as the “checkmarked” leg in front. •Reach up and then bend at the elbow reaching behind you until you can grasp your other hand. •Once you have them together you breathe super deeply and work on squaring your hips and shoulders to the front of your mat.•It helps to lift out of the core, then the ribs, then the chest to make as much space as possible.
