There are two types of yogis: the ones who love props and the ones who are not so down with the props. There are two major lineages of yoga, both with set sequences, both creators studied under the same man, and both are the foundations for the majority of styles of yoga we see in our Western classes. One is the Ashtanga lineage, which doesn’t use props. The other is Iyengar, which does utilize props.•Our featured teacher Edith teaches our Stretch and Restore classes which are Iyengar-based. So you get to use all the props in her classes to help you achieve exceptional alignment in your body and greater depth in your poses•Edith teaches on Mondays and Thursdays here at CYoga! Try out her class and we promise you will leave class feeling absolutely amazing •#feetfaceforward#cyogastudio#shinealivenow

Practicing yoga while pregnant can help ease a lot of pregnancy discomfort that ladies feel in their joints and muscles; just beware of the hyper mobility that can occur once that hormone Relaxin starts kicking in. The body’s joints loosen and can often take mamas to be further into poses than the muscles are properly prepared for.•Our pregnant teacher featured here, Emily, had a heavily flexibility based practice before getting pregnant so this pose was still safely accessible. Come do Frog and Half Pigeon Pose with her Monday’s and Thursday’s at CYoga.•Check our schedule for classes with Emily and our other amazing teachers. Each teacher’s class style has their own personal touch. Find the one you vibe with today •#feetfaceforward#cyogastudio#shinealivenow
